Cancellation Policy

Home / Cancellation Policy

We respect that your time is valuable and we appreciate that you understand ours is too. If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, or if you do not attend an appointment, this means we are unable to re-use that time for other clients.

We understand that occasionally a short-notice cancellation may be unavoidable and if it is possible to reschedule your appointment, without causing an issue for our clinic operations, we will try to do so. However, because it is often difficult to re-book an appointment slot within 72 hours, we have taken the decision to institute a 72 hour cancellation policy.

A deposit will be deducted from your bill for the relevant treatment. We guarantee that where notification to cancel appointments is given with more than 72 hours’ notice, deposits will be refunded or offset against any future treatment required.

Where late cancellations are notified (including failing to attend without notification) with less than 72 hours’ notice, we will retain your deposit or deduct a treatment from a course of prepaid treatments.

On Model Days, where a client has cancelled with less than 72 hour notice, a £50 deposit will still be retained.

To help our clients minimise the chance of losing their deposit or treatments from their courses, we do send out email reminders ahead of appointments. Although due to circumstances beyond our control this may not always be possible and clients should therefore not rely on a reminder.

How to notify the clinic about cancelling an appointment

Notification is always best given by telephoning the clinic on 07979 552338 or if there are difficulties with you doing so, then by email at [email protected] The sooner notification is given, the sooner we are able to offer your appointment to another patient and avoid your deposit being retained.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter and look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy For L’Amour Clinic

All of us have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and we sincerely hope that your family have kept safe and well.  We have missed being able to offer you the treatments that we know you love, and we are looking forward to seeing you again at the clinic.

Our priority is to keep you as safe as possible, and prior to re-opening the salon, we have implemented a number of changes, which we would like to make you aware of. During the time the salon has been shut, we have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control Course, which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd, the UK trade body for our industry. We have since made a number of changes in the way that we operate that you will notice when you next visit.

Booking Appointments

If any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, they will self-isolate immediately and not come into the salon. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book again.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and do not come to the salon for your appointment. We will not be able to go ahead with your appointment if you show signs you are unwell. We have amended our booking terms and conditions and you will not be charged for any appointments, which you miss due to illness/ other. Deposits/booking fees can be rescheduled until further notice but cannot be refunded

Visiting the Salon

For your safety and to maintain social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.

Please attend your appointment alone in order to reduce human contact with our staff. Unfortunately, friends and family members cannot enter the premises. If you have booked appointments with friends /family members back to back then please continue to come to the clinic alone – one at a time.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning in the salon including making sure that common surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.

All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety.

Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally, friendly, single-use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross-infection.

We will have hand sanitiser available for you to use when you come into the salon.

We will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a facemask or wear disposable gloves when you visit the salon and during your treatment is this is appropriate.

Please don’t be surprised or upset if our staff use personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment. This may include disposable gloves, facemasks, aprons where appropriate.

We can confirm that the laundering of salon towels and uniforms is a priority and that all salon laundry is washed at 60 degrees C

All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between each client.

Our treatments

We have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely.

During your treatment

Our staff understands the importance of hand hygiene and we will ensure that we wash our hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.

We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments please let us know and we will do what we can to satisfy you.

After the treatment

In order to avoid handling of cash, we would prefer if you could pay for your treatment by PayPal or bank transfer.

All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.
