  • Specialises in Tear Trough Filler.

Our In-House doctor, Dr Nawaz, at our Harley Street branch will be administering this treatment which means it is only available at this branch and not at our other UK or abroad locations at this moment.

The tear trough filler procedure requires a series of micro-injections which are placed within anatomically safe zones to reduce the possibility of any unwanted complications. Hyaluronic dermal filler is inserted within this “trough-like hollow’ and the practitioner will ensure even distribution by gently massaging the area.

A surgical lower eyelid lift or blepharoplasty may be able to treat excessive skin below the eye or pronounced eye bags but not everyone will be suitable for these procedures. In actual fact these procedures may make the dark circles worse in some instances. That is why the loss of volume below the eyes is best treated with dermal fillers in a temporary non-surgical tear trough filler procedure.

With prescribed numbing cream, dermal fillers involve minimal pain, and you may return to daily activities immediately after treatment. Bruising may last between 5-7 days.

Tear Trough Filler lasts around 9-12 months typically. All information will be discussed at your initial consultation with your doctor before the treatment commences.

The practitioner will assess each patient on an individual basis. Patients will need to be 18 or over to receive tear trough filler.

It is normal for there to be a very slight discomfort as for any dermal fillers however no pain. Because of how non-invasive the treatment is and with the numbing cream administered beforehand, it’s highly unlikely to feel pain during the procedure.

Recovery is generally very quick as the process is non-surgical and not very invasive at all. With all dermal fillers, results are visible instantly and regular activity can resume as normal. Swelling may occur and, in this case, individuals can apply a cold compress to the area every few hours. During the recovery period, it’s important that you do not touch the area for at least six hours after the treatment and apply an Arnica cream before sleeping to reduce the chance of bruising overnight.

Yes, they definitely look natural. They’re will not be anything dramatic or any surprises in terms of this process and our in-house doctor knows how to achieve prominent yet subtle results that will be desirable.
