Tear Trough Filler
As the ageing process commences, a common indication that becomes apparent is the loss of soft tissue volume below the eyes. These ‘trough-like hollows’ can appear in the crease where the cheekbone meets the under eye. This gives the appearance of marked dark circles which can be very ageing and distressing.
Tear Trough Filler is slightly different from other dermal fillers as it requires a series of micro-injections which are placed within anatomically safe zones to reduce the possibility of any unwanted complications. The hyaluronic acid based filler is inserted into this hollow area under the eyes and is evenly distributed through gentle massaging of the skin by the practitioner.

The tear trough filler procedure requires a series of micro-injections which are placed within anatomically safe zones to reduce the possibility of any unwanted complications. Hyaluronic dermal filler is inserted within this “trough-like hollow’ and the practitioner will ensure even distribution by gently massaging the area.

Swelling may occur and, in this case, individuals can apply a cold compress to the area every few hours.
